Last week in my wedding update, I went to great lengths to describe my numerous attempts to photograph the mysterious and elusive black squirrel.  Throughout the week, I received numerous emails from people throughout the northern US and Canada regarding these strange creatures.  The general consensus out there seems to be that these guys are fuckers, though I fail to see how that differentiates them from your standard run-of-the-mill gray squirrel.  Out of all the messages I received, I decided to run this email because it includes a pair of pictures that were of a much higher quality than anything that Andrea and I were able to achieve.

Ben:  You will find black squirrels all over the uptown campus of NYU if it still exists and hasn't been turned into condominiums by now.  If it has the squirrels are living better than I am, a graduate of the godforsaken place.  You will also find black squirrels living someplace around a rip-off artist's home in Colorado Springs.  I have pictures of the latter.
