This summer I wrote a little guide to playing D-League softball, which may have been a little harsh, but wasn't lacking for authenticity.  Here's an excellent letter (and photo) I received in response.

Amazing Ben,

Your description of D-League company softball was spot-on.  My team, the Foul Balls, has come in last place in C-League two years running.  We've asked for a D-League, but until that comes, we'll keep losing.  Behold my awesome!  I'm not going to lie, I may have been about to puke.

It certainly sounds like they were.  Speaking of which, please enjoy this awesome t-shirt design I put together for our team next year (note that Team Unforgiven was the name given to us by our former team captain and was NOT in any way chosen by me or anyone on my team).  If you'd like me to alter it to fit any of your teams out there, just let me know!

If that ends up being a little to risqué, here's our backup plan.  It stems from our previously-mentioned captain always telling us to "keep our head on the ball" when we swing.  Invariably, whenever one of us would completely whiff at a pitch, he'd yell, "you pulled your head off!"
